Sheen Roast Update/Taping This Weekend

Charlie Sheen adds celebrity roasters: Shatner, Walsh, Lovitz

from – The dais for “The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen” has finally shaped up now. The shooting date of the most-anticipated roast of all-time is drawing near and a bunch of new insulters have been added to add to Sheen’s misery on September 19.

First of them is Television icon William Shatner, who himself has been roasted in the program’s previous shows. Next is “Private Practice” star Kate Walsh, followed by comedians Jon Lovitz, Patrice O’Neal and Amy Schumer.

Rock star Slash will also be a part of the mega roasting event of the year, which will be roast mastered by Family Guy creator and experienced roaster Seth MacFarlane.

Don’t complain that you didn’t know that the line-up was this explosive because on the Saturday, Sheen’s life and career will be publicly abuse for the very first time on TV.

The organisers tried to add Sheen’s ex-wives Denis Richards and Brooke Mueller too but both of them claim to have passed up the opportunity. Their relationship with the former “Two and a Half Men” star is finally pleasant and they may not want to ruin it for a few minutes of satisfaction in front of the camera. But there is always a place for surprise roaster, so they can still be in it with a chance.

But one girlfriend of Sheen’s who will definitely not be a part of the Roast is porn star Capri Anderson. She wants to be on the show but our insiders say the nature of her past problems with Sheen was way too messy and more importantly, legal. Hence, she may be holding a permanent grudge and so will not be allowed on the show.

The new roasters join the previously announced quartet of roast expert Jeffrey Ross, stunt-master Steve-O, comedian Anthony Jeselnik and controversy-veteran Mike Tyson.
