The local resurgence of burlesque often seems to be fueled less by leering demand than by a supply-side yearning for outlets for sexual expression. Vaudezilla Productions spares us both sides of the equation by linking up with another cult phenomenon, The Big Lebowski, in a production that’s uproarious, absurd, and almost incidentally sexy. The revue captures the film’s sun-baked zen with mercifully little dialogue, while offering the outrageous–and oddly titillating–spectacle of characters like Walter (the John Goodman role onscreen, played here by a body-padded Wham Bam Pam) stripping down to pasties and g-string. By never claiming to be anything other than wonky fun, Vaudezilla sheds the desperate tone that shrouds other shows. –Keith Griffith/ Chicago Reader

We love the Big Lebowski over here in the BTSIC home theater. We love Vaudezilla burlesque in any venue they grace with their lovely bottoms. We are dope smoking perverts. We know you are too but don’t worry, we won’t judge.
The only thing I’ll tell you to do is check out “Rollin’ Outta Here Naked: A Big Lebowski Burlesque”. It’s every Saturday in September at Gorilla Tango. * Watch the movie first. You watched it in college, I know. You can win prizes(triple digits-worth)if you know Lebowski trivia.
* Dress like your favorite movie character. Not Jackie Treehorn, that’s my costume. I’ve gotta get one more use outta’ this white suit before Labor Day.
* Yell loud when the ass and titties come out. Unlike every woman on the street, burlesque performers appreciate it when you applaud their physical assets. This is your chance to shine, creep.
* Walter Sobchak is fair boner material when played by Wham Bam Pam.
* If you can’t get enough long-legged Lebowski ladies, go to the Diversey Rock ‘n’ Bowl on Sept. 14th and 15th.
